The Linden Centre Feedback

  1. Shocking

I have been in the place far to many times, massive conflict of interest breached people who were friends of my mum and step dad (both MH workers) where on the ward while I was there, I was placed on a 1-1 for my own safety but if there wasn’t enough staff I was left on my own and if I did anything was shouted at because other patients were more important! I was left in my room unconscious for god knows how long due to low blood sugars and was told I was faking it then when they did blood sugar check was told I faked the result! When I broke my hand was told it would be fine was left for 3 days and still suffer with it now! If I asked for support was told to just take medication and sleep it off, when staff were in the office we should t knock because they were doing their notes and that was more important than whatever I needed! But here’s the worst thing….. a member of staff on the ward gave a patient their mobile phone number and was messaging the patient who was on the ward! CLOSE THIS PLACE DOWN

  2. Disgrace

Please never let your loved ones into this place. Clueless people running this ‘unsafe prison’. Wrong meds given. Unsafe conditions. Most staff, especially those in charge, who have no true understanding or empathy towards mh.

  3. Awful place

My beloved grandson was very very ill with Psychosis. He was sectioned for his own safety and admitted as a patient at the Linden centre
I expected and trusted that he would be cared for and kept safe but NO! A few days later whilst still in the care of EPUT he lost his life, he was 23 years old.

zero stars is what is deserved ,place should be shut down
And as for CEO’s continued ” lessons learnt” quote .
    I don’t think so !!

  4. Disgusting

I was told by a senior HCA here that I ‘didn’t deserve to be treated like a human’. I was left while at risk to myself, time and time again, and then blamed for my actions, despite being told by a registered nurse, that it was ‘my Body, my choice’. Staff didn’t consider risks at all, and repeatedly both myself and other patients were put at risk because of staff’s actions, or lack of.

  5. Rated 'Inadequate'

Unclear information on support available, some staff rude or dismissive of needs, lack of choice to personalise care as needed.

  6. excellent

Bi-polar sufferer who thought that they had superhuman powers. [What was good about the service? How do you think this service could be improved? – edited by HWE] I was treated with delicacy and caution.
