The Hamilton Practice Feedback

  1. left to cope with mental health issues

after two years waiting for appeal could not get a sick note from the doctor as she felt she had not been dealing with my issues as I had not repeatedly gone to see her as when have was pointless she had referred to mind and they could not help and I had returned for referral and was waiting on mental health team .

  2. Drs are very good an listen to you.

I hav never had a bad experience.
    All good

  3. Inflexible appointments system

The Hamilton Practice has lovely, helpful reception staff and doctors but the appointments system is very rigid and this makes it difficult to obtain a convenient appointment. My husband needed an urgent appointment after he finished work (5.30 pm) but every time I called I was advised to call back later because the morning and early evening appointments had to be filled before later appointments could be offered. This meant that I wasted both my time and that of the receptionist having to keep calling back to see if they were taking bookings for after 5.30 yet. On my fourth attempt they did offer him a later appointment but not without a lot of hassle first. Why is it so hard for a working person to obtain a same day appointment when they finish work if their condition is urgent?
