St George’s Witham Nursing Home Feedback
Excellent Care, Exceptional People
Both my parents lived for a period of time, ( Mum for 3 years) and passed away at St. George’s. Both needed a lot of care at the end and the staff were fantastic. The management team are so competent, the whole place is very well run with well trained staff , the nurses are caring and knowledegable and the daily hand overs are so thorough. Many staff have worked there for a long time which says a lot and all the staff are very happy and welcoming .There are daily activities with cooking, gardening, crafts, excursions, and everyone no matter how frail they are , are included and encouraged, even if they can’t leave their rooms.
The food there is really good, the chef knows just what normal people fancy when they are ill or elderly and nothing is too much trouble. Each person has a birthday cake made and a little gift on their birthday, and special Chinese takeaway evenings are a regular event. Having experienced first hand all the ins and out of St Georges with two parents there, I would recommend it as the very best of care you could wish for.
