  1. Rude nurse practioner

    Rang on 24/08/23 put through to a nurse practioner, daughters hair had been ripped out from an accident on a swing. Half the side of her head. Was red raw stinging and throbbing, child screaming. Orsett is on my doorstep so I rang quickly for advice or possible check. Nurse was rude, Condescending and made me feel awful. She said there’s nothing they could do use some ice and observe her as ur her mother and should know best! When I pointed out that there was no need to be so rude to me she said well u wanted advice I’m giving it to you and hung up on me. Awful, uncaring, uninviting rude nurse who’s put me off ever using orsett minor injuries again. Othrt reviews point out a rude nurse who’s got no patience for children. Worrying given recent events too.

  2. Useful service but dismissive

    I attended after damaging my big toe. I found the nurse dismissive and patronising and they refused to x-ray. A month later I’m still in severe pain and now awaiting results from X ray ordered by GP, been left in pain for 6 weeks when a simple x-ray would have enabled me to access the right treatment straight away

  3. we visited the minor injuries before 19:00

    A very fast and helpful service, essential otherwise it would have been a months wait for a GP appointment or A & E. Keep this service available.

  4. Waiting time 2 hours but every busy

    I spent 2 hours in the Minor Injuries on Monday which I thought was good as they were very busy. I then had a hour and half wait for an x ray but this was also very busy. The receptionist apologised for the long wait but I thought this was quite exceptable as the clinic was very busy. Could I just comment that there was a lady aged 94 who arrived about 30 minutes after me and she had to wait her turn with her daughters for the same length of time. Perhaps management could look at fast tracking older people. I personally would not have a problem with this lady being seen straight away and fast tracked through the system. I think we are very lucky to have a minor injuries service at Orsett. All staff are very helpful and efficient from receptionist to nursing and X-ray staff.
