Old Road Medical Practice Feedback

  1. Not good.

    All staff are very helpful. Especially their Nurse/phlebotomist. They went above and beyond when I told them of my experience with one particular doctor.
    After seeking help with mental health troubles I was met with a very uncomfortable response. I was made to feel as though my thoughts were not valid and that I had to supply a reason otherwise I was fine. I was very upset upon leaving and feel far too uncomfortable to see that particular practitioner again.
    Staff overall seem nice but this one individual, that is my designated doctor, does not appear to have any sympathy or care for patients.

  2. Helpful staff, nightmare appointment system

    Booking an appointment is so difficult; you have to ring at 8am, if you call later in the day you are just told ‘no appointments’. I waited in the phone queue forty five minutes this morning to finally get through and be told ‘no appointments’ again. Luckily the receptionist was very caring and helpful and took the time to listen to me, arranging for the doctor to call me today. If she hadn’t been so nice I probably wouldn’t have bothered trying again.
