Terrible following up referral enquiries
Terrible attitude of staff, being “not my problem, or we’ve done our bit”. Doctors who am surprised can dress themselves in the morning let alone diagnose patients, added to the terrible panpipe music in reception at a volume above comfortable.

A Surgery that listens to the patient
Having been at another GP service in Harlow all my life and only recently moved to this practice, I was stunned at how the Doctors at this practice actually listen to you and are concerned for your wellbeing. With a complicated medical condition the Doctor at this surgery really listened to me, asked me questions to gain a better understanding and then referred me to a consultant – something I had been trying to get a previous GPs for over 2 years. I have only had a couple of appointments here, but the difference is astounding.
Good: appointments available for that day, not just booking weeks in advance. Friendly and helpful reception staff. Doctors that actually listen.
Bad: Not found any yet.

This is not a single experience feedback.
I would just like to say that I have been with Nuffield House Surgery now for more years than I can remember and during the whole of that time I have had only one occassion to complain about the service offered by one of the doctors who treated me abominably at the time, My normal doctor, [edited by HWE] was not available at the time.
On every other occasion, both the staff and medical staff have been first class showing patience and a politeness you seldom get anywhere else.
I would like to highlight both the reception staff and Dr. [edited by HWE] for exceptional service, especially Dr. [edited by HWE] who has always been especially helpful when listening to me (not giving lip service like so many professionals these days) and I have never left his surgery feeling he could have done more.
Having worked in a caring profession for more than thirty years before retiring, I know the importance of showing respect to a client/patient and he does that and much more.
Nuffield House is indeed fortunate to have the quality of staff. both medical and non-medical, that they have.
The staff on reception show infinite patience. I watched one very difficult patient talking to one of them and had I been behind the desk I doubt I could have remained calm as she did. They are a credit to the Pracice.
No improvements I can think of.
