At Little Havens, we are passionate about providing the best palliative and supportive care to improve the lives of those affected by complex or incurable conditions.
We care for children and young people up to the age of 25 from Essex and the surrounding boroughs who have been diagnosed with a complex or incurable condition. Support is also offered to the family.
Our eligibility criteria is based on the Together For Short Lives definitions. Some children will need further assessment.
- Conditions where curative treatment may fail
- Conditions where premature death is inevitable
- Progressive conditions without curative options
- Irreversible, but non progressive conditions, causing severe disability
