Goodleigh Dental Practice Feedback

  1. Most unprofessional service in Chelmsford

My recent experience at Goodleigh Dental Practice, Chelmsford is unfortunately not what i would wish for anyone even my worst enemy. I visited recently as was in pain and the treatment received was very poor. I, for one respectfully, will not mention names of staff but the staff i spoke to are in respectable paid positions and are there for the care of their patients. But to be left in pain because i could not have antibiotics is just unacceptable. That is their responsibility to fulfil this task for the patient but they do not. I followed the procedures in place to speak to the responsible persons, e.g. lead dentist. I was told by the receptionist that he would call me once he was free. Several weeks later i am still waiting for the call. I raised a formal complaint which was responded to over two weeks later informing me they have 10 working days to respond. This was a month ago now, still no formal response. I have therefore had to follow all the government guidance set out to report this and await a response. This ladies and gentleman is how i was treated for a toothache. I so hope you do not receive the same experience i received.

  2. Professional, Caring & Passionate

The dentist [XXX] made me feel totally relaxed as she knew I was a nervous patient. [XXX] explained procedures in an understandable and calm manner with utmost respect and dignity, very passionate about her job and take time out to listen to her patient and keep them calm at all times. Along with her very caring dental assistant. My mum goes to and feels the same and I have now recommended my niece and brother who have now started going to see [XXX]. Always a warm welcome, [XXX] is very professional and excellent at her job. I can not fault my dentist [XXX] she takes time to listen and explain what is going to happen along with her helpful assistant.
