82 year old father refused treatment
Disgusting service. Turning away 82 year old who’d fallen in the road causing very bad nose and hand injuries, heavy bleeding and severe shock was turned away today from minor injuries because nurse ******* was preparing to leave at 4.50pm when minor injuries closes at 5pm. Nurse leaving shift at Mayflower had to step in and treat my 82yr old father. Sending him to Colchester general.

Absolutely terrible!
My experience was bad, on most of my visits and my family’s. Reception staff are rude, it is impossible to get an appointment. Phones are always engaged and when you do get though there are no appointments and you are spoken to like your a piece of rubbish! If you think about going as soon as they open to make an appointment then there normally is a long line queuing outside the Gp doors Into the main part of reception! Every time I go in there I always here people compaining! They leaked my mother’s care to a member of the family that did not have permission to have it! One of the nurses told me to come off of antibiotics and then a few days later symptoms returned and saw a doctor and was like why did you stop! And put me back on them!! Talk about the issues currently with anti biotic resistance! Also the minor injuries is literally a waste of space and time, they don’t do most things, and don’t treat minor injuries like toes! They are run by nurses who again mostly are rude and degrading.
