  1. Outpatient excellence

    Rachel in the outpatient department kindly went out of her way to help re-treat a wound on an arm on the gentleman I brought in (100 years old) for a consultation on a different matter. She was careful, skilful and overall excellent in every way. Thank you.

    The staff were friendly and took care and time to explain the procedure in detail and answer any questions. As a result I felt confident and relaxed the whole time.

  3. Excellent staff and good treatment

    I was a little miffed at having to travel to Braintree for my day surgery from Southend but as it turned out it didn’t take long to get there. The hospital has excellent facilities. Good parking (free), lovely restaurant. The treatment itself was first class and staff fantastic. I would be happy to be transferred there again. Was like a private hospital.

  4. stayed in courtard ward,brilliant nurses

    Thank you too all staff nurses and doctors , went out of way to make my day relaxed and comfortable, nothink too much for them , courtard ward was amazing, staff really happy ,and freindly, was in on 12/01121 at 7 in morning , left at about 2 ,

    Out patients appointment always on time or early.
    As a day patient couldn’t fault anything care was great and well looked after.

  7. A surprisingly pleasant experience.

    Staff, nurses and doctors all very friendly, cheerful, caring and professional. Treatment also on time. [What was good about the service? How do you think this service could be improved? – HWE] Mainly the attitude and professionalism of nurses and doctor.

  8. save our amazing clinic please!

    I attend an excellent Saturday rheumatology clinic run by [edited by HWE] and there have been rumours it is being cut so I will no longer be able to see these amazing clinicians. These rumours have resulted in patients crying in the corridors and being very upset for weeks.

    As MEHT is officially rated as “requiring improvement” I am at a loss to understand why these award-winning clinicians will not be practising at Braintree Hospital. I am also unaware of any patient consultation, which is odd given your Trust’s proclaimed commitment to putting patients first.[Edited by HWE]

    The CCG have (eventually) replied to my Tweets and said other consultants will be taking over [edited by HWE] clinics; again, when was the patient consultation for this? Why is this happening when the clinics are always well-run and busy?

    Why are the patients suffering?
