Share your experience of the Young Person’s Trauma Keyring

We are currently working with the University of Essex to understand the impact of our Young Person’s Trauma Keyring. The keyring was developed to help young people communicate important trauma-related information quickly and safely when accessing healthcare. We now want to understand how it is working in real-world settings, both from the perspective of young people who have used it and from the professionals who have encountered it in practice.

We are keen to hear from healthcare practitioners working in the UK, including GPs, nurses, psychologists and other professionals who have been presented the Young Person’s Trauma Keyring by a young person during their care. We would also like to hear from young people aged 18 to 25 who have shown the keyring to a healthcare practitioner while receiving care.

Taking part involves taking part in an online interview lasting up to 90 minutes, exploring your experience of using or receiving the keyring. Your insights will help us strengthen our understanding of trauma-informed care in practice and shape the future development of the keyring and associated training. As a thank you, participants will receive a £15 gift voucher.

If you would like to take part, please complete the short sign-up form here. More details about the study can be found here. If you have any questions, or would like an easy read version of the information, please contact Alysha Charania at [email protected].
