With the Autumn weather finally here, the Healthwatch Essex team have still been heading out to events across Essex. After an amazing September, find out which public events the team will attend in October, but first, let’s look at this month’s highlights…
In September, we saw the team head across Essex to hospitals, call centres, family fun days, community events, and so much more. This month, the team were delighted to visit HUC 111 call centre in Welwyn Garden, where they were shown how 111 operates on a daily basis and why their work is so important to the public.
We also saw our Fella’s Forums out and about this month, with the Colchester Fella’s Forum going for a return visit to Yarra Farm and Greenpath Ventures, where the fellas got involved with some weeding and allotmenteering, and enjoyed a hearty stew. This month, our Braintree Fella’s Forum also went on a walk and talk around Earls Colne, Colchester then headed back to the Healthwatch Essex Office in Earls Colne and had their last BBQ of the year.
For more information about our Fella’s Forums, please email Scott Tatum on [email protected] or head to our Men’s Health tab.
