We have a launched a live chat facility on our website to help the public access our Information Service as easily as possible.
The facility, which will be available from 10am to 2pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, will allow members of the public to chat online with one of our knowledgeable, friendly Information Team.
The Information Service exists to help people access, understand, and navigate health, social care and wellbeing services in Essex.
Anyone can contact us confidentially for help on health and social care services near you, how to access the support you need, what to do if you have a concern or complaint or how to share feedback about services.
Sharon Westfield De Cortez, Information Service Lead said: “We want to make sure that people can access us in lots of different ways, to make sure our service is as inclusive as possible.
It is already possible to call, text and email us. But with more and more available online, we recognise that some people may be more comfortable with using a live chat facility and may find it more convenient.
Throughout the last few months, there has been a significant change in the way that health and social care services are delivered, so we know that it may be a confusing time and we are here to support and help people navigating that rapidly changing system.”
