What’s on the line? | New Feedback Centre

Here at Healthwatch Essex, hearing the voices of the people of Essex and collecting their lived experiences is a pivotal part of what we do. We know that the most valuable feedback comes from the people who have had direct experience of a service and this feedback should be truly valued as an honest, current and personal account that can be used to facilitate reflection, change and improvement.

Our Feedback Centre has been updated and is now available online. The free platform is a simple and effective way to make sure that your voice is heard by the people who need to hear it.

The Feedback Centre acts as an online directory of services with hundreds of health and social care services available to the people of Essex listed. You can simply search for a service or find the one which you wish to leave a review about, and submit your experience using your own words and star ratings. We publish all reviews for everyone to see, including the service provider who has the opportunity to respond to your review directly.

All feedback is welcomed, whether the sentiment is positive, negative, neutral or informative. You can choose to put your name against your review or remain anonymous and we have to maintain appropriate boundaries online, so certain comments may have to be removed – you will be notified if this is the case. If there are unresolved issues, the Healthwatch Essex Information & Signposting Team may contact you to offer support if you have left your contact details.

Your reviews are so important, not only to ensure that the service providers hear about your experiences, but also so that the rest of our community can see and use them as a tool to help choose the services they want to engage with and gain knowledge from the experiences of others.
