    I am a former employee. In December I contacted universal credit about my awards being up and down and frequently changing. In March I was informed by universal credit that first stop recruitment reported my earnings for April, May & June 2024 in December meaning I had to pay back an overpayment. They also informed me that first stop had failed to report my earnings in real time to HMRC and that they hadn’t reported my earnings for 8 months from July 2024 to March 2025, they have now reported these in one go, 8 months worth causing me to get a bill from DWP for overpayments totalling £1957.42. First stop refused to provide me with payslips. I have no idea if my tax, NI and pensions contributions were paid.
    I provide care to a vulnerable lady with learning disabilities and should be paid by my employer first stop. My pay comes out of my lady’s social care budget held by penderels trust. My lady also personally contributes to financing her care. I am now questioning whether first stop have been commiting fraud with this lady’s care budget, we have moved her to another care provider.
