CSES Spotlight Roundtable event on Inclusivity

September 15 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Chelmsford Science & Engineering Society (CSES) are holding a roundtable event on Wednesday 15 September from 4-6pm, looking to answer the question “How can we tackle economic, health and education inequality within Essex using science and technology?”.

The event is open to anyone with an interest in the subject matter who would like to help answer this question, and they would particularly encourage those from organisations working either to tackle any of the issues of economic, health or education inequality, or to amplify the voices of frequently marginalised or excluded groups, to join them.

During the event, a series of short sector-led presentations setting out the context will be followed by an inclusive and structured conversation in which participants will be invited to respond to the above question, among other things such as identifying the areas of science and technology which will make a difference, ways in which the STEM sector can help and how stakeholders can work collectively on this issue.

A full agenda and online registration facility is available on the event page of the CSES website, which you can go to by clicking the pink box on the right. This event will be delivered via Zoom, with joining instructions to be issued after registration.
