Community Cinema Screening | Billericay
October 17 @ 2:30 pm - 5:00 pm
Billericay Community Cinema is screening “Singin’ in the Rain” on Sunday November 17th at 2:30pm in Billericay Library.
This event is open to anyone who fancies something to do on a Sunday afternoon our friendly team of volunteers will be on hand to welcome you and ensure that you have an enjoyable time.
We particularly welcome those for whom Sunday afternoon can often be the longest time of the week and those living with dementia, their carers, family and friends. For this special screening the lights will be a little higher than usual, the sound a little lower and we have an interval for people to take a break. The Library is a safe space; we want people to be able to relax and enjoy the show. Dementia Friends and experts will be on hand to provide support and to answer any questions you might have.
Tickets, priced £4.00 are available from Billericay Library reception and online here. Included in the price is tea/freshly brewed coffee and cake – plus an opportunity to meet and socialise with others. Other reasonably priced refreshments are available (including freshly made popcorn, chocolates, soft drinks)
Accessibility: Billericay Library is an accessible building. From the Library entrance into our auditorium there are no steps. There are 3 steps up to the lavatories which can are accessible via an easy to use lift.
