West Essex Armed Forces Community Experiences of Healthcare Services

Are you a current or former member of the Armed Forces? We want to hear from you about how you’ve accessed NHS services, and what could be done to improve them for people within the Armed Forces Community.

On behalf of Hertfordshire and West Essex Integrated Care Board (ICB), we are launching a project focusing on Armed Forces personnel and their families around their experiences of accessing/using NHS services. This will include primary care services, such as GP practices, dentistry, pharmacies and opticians, mental health services, and hospital and community services.

How can the NHS better engage with the Armed Forces Community? What ideas and suggestions do you have?

We want to hear from:

  • Veterans, service leavers or non-mobilised reservists
  • Serving personnel and reservists
  • Partners, parents and children of those who are or have served in the Armed Forces

To be able to participate you must live in West Essex.

This can be done via one-to-one interviews, or via email/telephone/video call.

If you would like to find out more, or have a discussion and perhaps feed into the project, please email [email protected] or call 07742 072740.
